For the K 1600 Grand America, the additional speakers are offered as standard equipment ex works from PU 2018 (08/2018). The retrofit refers to vehicles produced before PU 2018. The essential information on the auxiliary speakers and their retrofitting is summarized below. By upgrading the current audio system, a new all-round sound experience is achieved. The auxiliary speakers are specially designed for use in BMW motorcycles and includes high-performance rear speakers with a powerful auxiliary amplifier. The auxiliary amplifier is integrated behind the rear seat back in the top case and is used to control the rear speaker.
