UVC light automatically and efficiently eliminates viruses, bacteria, germs and fungi in the vehicle interior. The device disinfects up to 99.9 percent of the illuminated area. The EMC guidelines are complied with. Integrated motion sensors ensure that no living creatures in the vehicle are irradiated. The device is installed in the vehicle interior before use. Optimal mounting locations are shown in the operating instructions. The automatic disinfection starts after pressing a button on the device and a countdown and inspection of the interior by motion sensors. The start and end of the disinfection process can be viewed from the outside using light effects. The UV-C disinfection light can be charged via the USB socket or alternatively via the BMW USB-C Charger while driving (12V). No persons or living creatures may be in the vehicle while the interior is being irradiated. The motion sensor scans the interior of the vehicle before and during the lighting time and stops the process if it detects a living being. The device must be safely stowed away while driving.
