The UV-C disinfection light can be charged via the USB socket or alternatively via the BMW USB-C Charger while driving (12V). No persons or living creatures may be in the vehicle while the interior is being irradiated. The motion sensor scans the interior of the vehicle before and during the lighting time and stops the process if it detects a living being. The device must be safely stowed away while driving.
