Stylish, clear form: The BMW Urban Hybrid e-bike's sleek design and the barely visible battery integrated into the frame geometry ensure this. This e-bike is also equipped with an innovative LED battery charge level indicator. The barely visible, removable Li-ion battery, the hub motor integrated into the rear wheel and the step sensor technology ensure a particularly dynamic riding experience. In addition, the bike has an Oi-Bell bike bell, sporty grips and hydraulic disc brakes(*), as well as a derailleur(**). (*) Hydraulic disc brakes: Here the brake pads are pressed against the brake disc by pistons. The system allows a fine dosage of the braking power, requires comparatively little hand force and provides a much better braking function in wet conditions than rim brakes. (**) Derailleur gears: gears in which the bicycle chain engages with alternating engagement in a ring with toothed wheels. Advantages are a wide ratio range for easy pedaling and the high efficiency.
