Description

The compact BMW Wallbox Essential can be flexibly and easily connected to the household power grid. Thanks to a powerful charging capacity of up to 22 kW/three-phase, it effectively shortens the charging time. With a cable length of up to 5 m, the wallbox also opens up great flexibility in the choice of parking space. The installation and handling as well as the cable management of the wallbox are kept simple. Installation costs are low due to the integrated DC fault detection. The ergonomic and high-quality design is characterized by selected, high-quality and environmentally friendly materials. The housing contains recycled material and is made of resistant plastic. The high-quality multi-layer coating of the exterior parts meets the highest demands. It protects the wallbox permanently and contributes to a coherent image with the vehicle. The wallbox supports the vehicle-specific "time-controlled charging" function. This makes it possible to charge vehicles exclusively at certain times and thus take advantage of particularly favorable electricity rates, for example. Pre-air conditioning of the vehicle is also possible. So in the morning you will find a charged and already pre-heated or -cooled vehicle. The energy required for this is provided by the wallbox when the vehicle is connected and thus saved during the journey - to maximize the range. The status display of the wallbox is shown by an LED bar on the front of the wallbox. The display on the wallbox means that you can always see the current charging status, even from a greater distance. Mounting instructions: -To ensure that the wallbox works safely and reliably in the house circuit, it must be installed and connected by a skilled tradesman. Depending on the country, country-specific regulations must be observed and complied with during connection. -The wiring from the house installation to the wallbox as well as the fuse protection is specific to each market and connection case and is determined by the specialist tradesman on site.
