17 Inch Sport Brake Disc

Description

The difference compared with conventional brake discs is that the compound brake discs on the front axle are equipped with a radial plain bearing for the brake disc rings. This "floating" system allows free thermal expansion of the brake disc ring. The compound brake discs may only be installed in conjunction with alloy wheels (also winter complete wheels)! The front brake discs have a marking indicating that no steel wheel may be installed. In the event of a breakdown, the emergency wheel can be installed, as it can be assumed that the vehicle will only be moved at a moderate speed (max. 80 km/h) to the next service station. The perforated brake discs may only be installed in pairs on one axle. Simultaneous installation on the front and rear axle is recommended, as the brake pad wear is matched to each other! -Improved optics. -Enhances the sportiness especially with alloy wheels with open wheel design. -Lower weight, thus lower unsprung masses. -Developed by BMW M GmbH as a special accessory. -Technically adapted for 330i, 330d, 330 Cd, 330Ci, 330xi, 330xd with standard 17-inch brake system. -On the front axle, perforated compound brake discs as on the BMW M3. -On the rear axle, standard perforated brake discs. -Brake calipers and brake pads are stock. -Not available off the production line.
