For this reason, retrofitting is always accompanied by coding of the control electronics by the dealer. It also has the effect of deactivating any electronic parking aid that may be present when reverse gear is engaged in trailer mode. The trailer stability control is a system integrated in the DSC and is activated via the assignment of the socket at the rear. The trailer hitch control unit (AAG - Anhänger-Anschluss-Gerät) is not part of the set and must be ordered separately.
