Description

The lightweight exhaust system is made of high-quality titanium and features eye-catching carbon fiber tailpipes. With the exhaust valve - whose housing is cast in the Akrapovic foundry - the sound of the exhaust is richer and higher frequency than with the conventional material. A specially designed Y-split allows the reduction of streaming caused by the OPF without compromising the pressure pulse distribution, providing a stronger sound and an optimal flow path. The design of the exhaust, which is lighter than stock due to the use of titanium, optimizes power and torque across the rev range with a power increase of 3.3 kW at 5350 rpm and a torque increase of 5.9 Nm at 5300 rpm. The optimized exhaust flow path opens up tuning features that can be taken to a higher level with the optional Evolution Link Pipe Sets (SS) for a further increase in power. To install the slip-on system, the stock exhaust system must be cut off. Please read the instructions carefully before starting the installation. For the Slip-On Line (Titanium) the Akrapovič Sound Kit can be ordered optionally. The Slip-On Line is suitable for the years of construction 2011 - 2012.
