The BMW WaterBlade is a windshield wiper with new, innovative wiper technology. Here, the cleaning fluid is applied directly to the windshield via nozzles in the wiper blades. This effective cleaning system increases cleaning performance, reduces visibility-impairing spray mist and also saves washer fluid. The BMW WaterBlade is a flat bar wiper blade with an integrated cleaning system. -The optimized cleaning performance provided by the BMW WaterBlade is effective at all speeds. -The BMW WaterBlade guarantees precise application of the cleaning fluid over the entire length of the wiper blades. -Direct delivery of the cleaning fluid to the windscreen results in less visibility-obstructing spray mist and virtually no foam formation. -The BMW WaterBlade reduces the amount of windshield cleaning fluid required. -The retrofit is quick and uncomplicated. When changing the wiper blade can only be converted to the BMW WaterBlade with a small surcharge. -The product has been tested by TÜV Süd and has a vehicle homologation.

The G11/G12, G30/G31 models have a dry arm system installed as standard (spray nozzles under the hood). To convert to a wet arm system (spray nozzles in the wiper arm), the BMW WaterBlade kit, which includes all the necessary hose lines, brackets, hose connectors, etc., is required once. In addition, the wiper blades BMW WaterBlade are required. In case of wear, only the wiper blades BMW WaterBlade are replaced.
