The BMW M Performance silencer system not only gives your vehicle a sound full of character. It also ensures significantly improved responsiveness. This is because the excellent flow reduces backpressure, the exhaust air is dissipated particularly quickly and the engine can unleash its power. The result is impressive, and above all audible. Even at low revs, the almost soft, sonorous sound gives you an idea of what your vehicle is capable of. When you then accelerate, your pulse rate will rise abruptly. The visible sign of this hidden quality are the twin tailpipes made of chrome-plated stainless steel. The purist look gives them a particularly refined high-tech appeal. Speaking of qualities: As with all other components from the BMW Performance product line, state-of-the-art CAD and FEA technology as well as the strictest internal control procedures ensure an exceptionally long service life. The BMW Performance silencer system is available for both 6-cylinder petrol and 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Both systems were developed in each case for the specific requirements of the different engine dimensions and perfectly matched to the corresponding characteristics.
