Description

Often it is the small changes that have a very big effect. The BMW chrome lamps give the turn signal a uniform, high-quality chrome look - without any "mirror effect". Mainly suitable for vehicles where the yellow turn signal lamps are particularly noticeable. -Elegant appearance: The BMW chrome lamps make the side turn signal lamps (WY5W) or the turn signals in the taillights and headlights (PY21W) appear perfectly silvery/chrome-colored when switched off. -Small change with big effect: the turn signal reflector is completely chrome-plated or white. This gives the entire headlight a completely different look, without being able to name the change right away. -The lamps blend in harmoniously with the reflectors of the direction indicators, without a yellow spot in the blinker. The "mirror effect" is completely eliminated. -High luminosity: When switched on, the turn signal shines in the usual and prescribed orange-yellow light. -Can also be used for MINI: The BMW chrome lamps can be used in the MINI side turn signal (WY5W) as well as in the MINI rear and front lights (PY21W) (from model year 2006). -The BMW chrome lamps WY5W are currently the only chrome lamps on the market that emit the yellow light in all directions. -The so-called WY5W Silver Top lamps prevent the light from passing through the end of the bulb. However, the yellow of the bulb is still visible. Both are eliminated with the BMW Chrome lamp. -Dyed yellow glass ensures lifelong yellow light - unlike incandescent lamps with only a yellow coating, where the yellow coating can flake off. Functionality: -The yellow through-colored glass bulbs of the incandescent lamps are silver coated by a layer of HTC coating (High T° coating). -The manufacturing process is called PiCVD = plasma im-pulse chemical vapor deposition. -When the turn signal is switched off, it takes on the color of the headlight reflector and thus gives the vehicle an individual style.
