Impregnating Agent

Description

The impregnating agent is suitable for textiles, smooth and suede leather as well as motorcycle suits, boots and gloves. The ultra-thin protective film does not impair the appearance and feel of the fabric or its breathability. The unique formulation was specially developed for BMW and enables water- and oil-repellent reimpregnation of large textile surfaces made of natural and synthetic fibers. The impregnating agent coats the fiber with an invisible monomolecular film that has a water-repellent effect. Opened containers should be used up quickly. Application: The fabric to be impregnated must be clean and dry before applying the impregnating agent. If necessary, it should be cleaned, making sure that cleaning agents containing surfactants are rinsed off as completely as possible with clear water, as they impair the impregnating effect. Spray impregnation spray evenly onto the fabric to be impregnated until it is completely wetted but not too damp. When treating in sections, ensure that the sprayed areas overlap. Then allow to dry completely (approx. 5-10 minutes at 20 °C). To check the protective effect, let some water drip on if necessary: if drops do not remain as beads on the fabric, the treatment must be repeated. If a white residue is visible after drying due to overdosing, simply brush it off. Test the fabric for color fastness on an inconspicuous area before application. Safety instructions: -Do not use on closed plastic surfaces. -Do not spray on glass, art glass or painted surfaces. -The product is highly flammable. It must be kept away from ignition sources (do not smoke). -Container is under pressure, protect from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C (e.g. from incandescent lamps). -Use only outdoors with good ventilation and not in blazing sun. -Do not inhale solvent.
