Description

The new ConnectedRide Com U1 is a helmet-independent communication system and offers numerous advantages for rider, pillion or biker group. The rider can communicate with the pillion or the group via Bluetooth or Mesh 2.0. The communication system also enables phone calls while riding and music listening for two. A quick-charge function increases the operational capability. For optimum range in mesh mode, the device is equipped with an antenna that can be conveniently folded in and out. For best possible performance, the antenna must be folded out. After the initial update, all subsequent updates can be conveniently installed via app. -Depending on the operating mode, different functions can be operated via voice control. Voice control is available in 8 languages. -If the cell phone is directly connected to the communication system, convenient access to digital voice assistants is possible (e.g. "Hey Google" / "Hey Siri"). -Indication of the battery charge level when the headset is switched on by corresponding flashing of the LED. If the charge level is low during use, an automatic voice announcement is made. Communication information: -Bluetooth-Intercom: ideal for communication of 2 participants; range of up to 2 km in open area. -Mesh-Intercom: ideal for communication of groups with more than 2 participants; range of up to 2 km in open terrain. This range can be extended up to 8 km in open terrain when at least 6 riders are connected. Group communication via mesh technology can be done in two different ways: -Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom: The multi-channel protocol in open mesh allows switching between 9 communication channels. Anyone on the same channel can talk to that group - an almost unlimited number of riders are supported, as long as they are within range. For easy initial setup of the communication system, this option is preset with channel 1. -Group Mesh Intercom: creation of private, closed groups for mesh communication with up to 24 participants. -Users can switch between private Group Mesh and Open Mesh at the touch of a button without having to reset Mesh first.
