Loading sill protection film

Description

The loading sill protection films specially developed for BMW reliably protect the paintwork on the loading sill from scratches or other damage and preserve the paintwork surface in the long term. The paint protection film installation kit is recommended for easy installation of the bumper protection. This contains a spray bottle, a squeegee and a microfiber cloth. This is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately if required. Please also refer to the detailed installation instructions. For further information, please refer to the installation information / how-to video enclosed with the bumper protection film. -The bumper protection is individually manufactured for each model and developed together with BMW Design. It also adapts perfectly to the contours of the vehicle. The polyurethane film provides the loading sill with completely transparent, hard-wearing protection. -The film prevents damage caused by scratches (e.g. from dogs or loading and unloading). As the loading sill is a particularly stressed part of the vehicle, reliable protection is particularly useful here. The high-quality paintwork on the loading sill retains its attractive appearance in the long term. This increases the resale value of the vehicle. -Easy installation: The film can be applied quickly and easily by the dealer and customer. Technical information/application 1. apply the film to the surface that has been cleaned of oil/grease and polish residues. 2. spray the surface to be covered with a mixture of water and washing-up liquid. 3. remove the film motifs from the backing paper and immediately spray the adhesive side of the film with the water/detergent mixture with the notch in the center of the film. 4. align the film exactly on the vehicle and spray again with the water/detergent mixture if corrections are required. Fix at cut-outs and smooth out wrinkles using the pulling technique. 5. lightly spray the surface of the film with the water/detergent mixture and press out the liquid from the center outwards using strong squeegee strokes. No liquid must remain between the film and the substrate!
