The impact protection made of sturdy plastic protects the touring cases from scratches and damage at the front, sides and bottom. The two molded parts therefore perform well when the machine has to be maneuvered into tight parking spaces or narrow passages. But the impact protection can also withstand many a jostle during manual transport. Additional information: The choice of materials and design ensure effective protection of the cases from surface damage: The profile of the upper bumper is dimensioned so that the widest part of the case is there and no longer on the painted surface of the case. The plastic TPU used is elastic and resilient, but not as soft as rubber (urethane-based thermoplastic). This effectively prevents paint damage (e.g. when maneuvering).
