BMW Motorrad chain spray is a fully synthetic lubricant that has been specially developed for motorcycle drive chains. Once sprayed on, the water-repellent film can withstand even long journeys in heavy rain and temperatures of up to 200 °C. In addition, special anti-corrosion agents protect the chain, sprocket and transmission sprocket from damage caused by aggressive moisture or salt. The BMW chain spray is suitable for standard chains as well as for O-ring and X-ring chains. Due to the low-viscosity consistency in combination with solvents and penetrating oil, the product can penetrate the lubrication points excellently. After evaporation of the solvent, specially adhesive polymers ensure a dense and well adhering lubricating film. The formula of the spray is unique and was specially developed for BMW Motorrad. Application: Before using chain spray, remove coarse, loose dirt from the chain using a cloth or a copper wire brush. Spray the chain spray sparingly and evenly on the clean and dry surface of the chain from the inside to the outside, while slowly turning the rear wheel manually so that the lubricant is distributed on the chain wheel and the gear wheel. Allow the lubricant to dry for 10 to 20 minutes (depending on the outside temperature) so that it can penetrate the lubrication points and develop the best possible adhesion. Opened containers must be tightly sealed after use. The product should be applied at temperatures above 15 °C. At lower temperatures, the product must dry correspondingly longer.
