Description

The S4007 brake pad is derived from a proven endurance racing pad used in racing. It was specially developed with regard to increased thermal performance and meets the requirements of ECE-R 13H (legal requirement in many countries). The following significantly different characteristics compared to the standard brake pad must be urgently observed: The design of the brake force distribution is racing-oriented. This means that dynamic steering on the brakes is supported and differs significantly from the standard configuration. Increased stress on the brake discs: Due to the changed friction mechanisms, the brake disc wears faster. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the brake disc when installing this brake pad. It is absolutely necessary to replace the brake disc in the case of cracks from 13 mm even before the wear of the brake pad. -Shorter braking distance. -Improved brake response. -Higher thermal load capacity.
