The BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit offers an optimum performance upgrade for the standard engine in the 540i and 540i xDrive. The new performance-optimized engine data in conjunction with the optimally tuned silencer system turn the 540i and 540i xDrive into an uncompromising, audible and tangible sports experience. -Improved acceleration, impressive torque and faster response are the improvements immediately noticeable to the driver after installation. The acceleration values (from 0 to 100 km/h) improve by 0.2 seconds. Fascinating performance, sporty and dynamic set-up. With the silencer system, it is even possible to increase performance to 265 kW/500 Nm. An increase that generates enthusiasm and impresses with outstanding driving performance. -The great pulling power, even in the high speed range, still allows strong acceleration and thus ensures a sporty and very agile driving experience. -Higher torque curve -Higher power curve -Same consumption despite higher performance: Fuel consumption and emission values correspond to the standard engine despite significantly higher performance. -Performance at a glance: The sports display in the iDrive Monitor is adapted to the higher power output as well as the higher torque. -The Power and Sound Kit provides the right engine and exhaust system sound and thus intensifies the sporty BMW sound characteristics. -Outstanding, sporty sound on the outside and in the interior: -The silencer system was developed using the latest technology. This ensures optimum fitting accuracy and manufacturer quality. -Easy installation: The silencer system can be installed simply by screwing it into place. Welding is not necessary. -The M Performance silencer system gives the rear of the vehicle a striking and individual look. Important notes: -The conversion and data programming can only be carried out by the BMW partner. Installation is carried out in accordance with the installation instructions. -All legal requirements are fulfilled. -The vehicle must be recoded. An activation code is required for this. -If the potential of the M Performance Power and Sound Kit is fully utilized, the standard brake system may be subjected to a higher thermal load. We therefore recommend the installation of the thermally more powerful and larger M Performance brake system. -For vehicles without the M sports package, the rear apron must be cut. These cut-outs are covered with a plastic trim. -The rear diffuser must be replaced on vehicles with the M sports package. -For registration and warranty reasons, the BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit can only be installed in its entirety. Components from the Power and Sound Kit may not be installed individually. -The vehicle insurance company must be notified of the increase in performance.
