Charging Cable 3-Phase

Description

With the charging cable for public charging stations, Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), such as the BMW 330e, can be charged quickly and reliably at public charging stations. Unlike the previous AC fast charging cable, 3-phase charging with up to 22 kW power is supported. -Greatest possible flexibility: transmission of charging currents of up to 32 A per phase. Thus, 1-phase charging with up to 7.4 kW or 3-phase with max. 22 kW is possible (depending on the vehicle). -The flat spiralization and the perfectly fitting cable bag make the charging cable ideally packed for transport. -The enclosed gloves allow a "clean" handling, even in rain and slush. -The coordinated design of the charging cable and wallbox creates an attractive overall package with the appropriate solution for flexible charging - at home and on the road. -The charging cable has been validated with all BMW PHEV models and meets BMW Group quality standards. -The silver-plated and corrosion-resistant contacts significantly reduce electrical resistance. The resulting longevity as well as increased electrical safety are not matched by commercially available cables with brass contacts. -The innovative spiralization creates weight and volume savings (approx. 60% lighter). -Functionality: -The cable is equipped with coding, allowing the charging station and vehicle to determine the maximum current allowed. Optimal charging performance is achieved without overloading the charging cable. -The geometry of the charging plug has been adapted to optimize compatibility with public charging infrastructure. -The ergonomically shaped plugs are robustly manufactured and fit comfortably in the hand. -The matching to the charging connectors of the BMW vehicles facilitates the daily handling. -Technical data: -Connections: Type 2 on both sides (ECE) -Charge mode: 3/Mode 3 -Length: 5.0 meters -Halogen-free -Flame retardant -Oil resistant -Temperature resistant: -30° C to +80° C -Maximum charging capacity: 3 x 32 A or 22 kW with 3-phase connection (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) -Type 2 plug designed according to ECE standard makes the charging cable suitable for use throughout Europe
