The JOHN COOPER WORKS tuning kit for the MINI F56 and F57 with JOHN COOPER WORKS flap silencer system (Bluetooth 4.0 control) offers two possible operating modes with the "Sport Mode" and "Track Mode", both of which acoustically emphasize the sporty character of the vehicle. Sport mode" can be used without restriction for operation on public roads. The "Track mode" is intended for use on the race track. The JCW flap silencer system, in conjunction with a performance-optimized engine data set, offers maximum emotionality, volume and sound for a more intense driving experience. -The JCW tuning kit provides the appropriate engine and exhaust system sound, intensifying the sporty MINI sound characteristics. -Reduced exhaust backpressure, in conjunction with the adjusted engine data, ensures excellent responsiveness. -The flap silencer system offers a choice of two modes. The track mode or the sport mode. -Track mode: Maximum emotional sound, very sporty, very loud. For maximum performance on the race track. -Sport mode: Significantly sportier and more emotional than the standard vehicle, but with a recognizable residual comfort for uncompromising everyday use. -The muffler system is made of high-quality stainless steel. For outstanding quality and durability. -Perfect look: The tuning kit is optionally available in conjunction with JCW chrome or carbon trim. -Perfect fit: As an original MINI accessory, the tuning kit is optimally matched to the vehicle. -The JOHN COOPER WORKS tuning kit increases the power of the standard engine to 155 kW. -The maximum torque of 300 Nm is permanently available with the tuning kit between 1,350 rpm and 4,600 rpm. -Same consumption despite higher performance: The fuel consumption and emission values in the ECE driving cycle correspond to the series engine despite higher performance. Functionality: -The flap silencers have two operating modes. -The activation/deactivation of the two modes is done by a simple double click on the radio remote control (Bluetooth 4.0). -The selected mode is displayed on an LED setting indicator on the remote control. -An accidental activation of the "track mode" is impossible. Engine start always activates the "Sport mode". -Track mode: Maximum emotional sound, very sporty. Only suitable for operation on race tracks. -Sport mode: Sporty sound, for operation on public roads (no further registration documents are required for this). Technical information and notes: -The conversion and data programming can only be done by the MINI partner. -All legal requirements are met. -No further approval documents are necessary for the "Sport Mode". The silencer is approved for operation on public roads. -Use of the "Track Mode" on public roads will void the approval according to StVZO. -For a distinctly sporty driving style, MINI recommends the installation of the thermally more powerful and larger 17" JCW brake system. -The vehicle must be recoded. -Only in conjunction with JCW tailpipe trim chrome or carbon. -Not suitable for vehicles with the special equipment preparation rear rack (SA 3AR). -For approval and warranty reasons, the installation of the JOHN COOPER WORKS tuning kit is only possible in its entirety. Components from the tuning kit may not be installed individually. -The vehicle insurance company must be informed of the performance increase of the vehicle.
