Chain Spray

Description

BMW Motorrad chain spray is a fully synthetic lubricant specially developed for motorcycle drive chains. After spraying, the water-repellent film withstands even longer rides with heavy rain and temperatures up to 200 °C. In addition, special anti-corrosion agents protect the chain, sprocket and transmission wheel from damage caused by aggressive moisture or salt. The BMW chain spray is suitable for standard chains as well as for O-ring and X-ring chains. Due to the low-viscosity consistency in combination with solvents and penetrating oil, the product can penetrate the lubrication points excellently. Specially adhesive polymers provide a dense and well adhering lubricating film after evaporation of the solvent. The formula of the spray is unique and was developed specifically for BMW Motorrad. Application: Before using with chain spray, remove coarse, loose dirt from the chain using a rag or copper wire brush. Spray chain spray sparingly and evenly on the clean and dry surface of the chains from the inside to the outside; while doing this, turn the rear wheel slowly by hand so that the lubricant is distributed on the chain wheel and the gear wheel. Allow lubricant to dry for 10 to 20 minutes (depending on outside temperature) so that it can be absorbed into the lubrication points and develop the highest possible adhesion. Opened containers must be tightly closed after use. The product should be applied at temperatures above 15 °C. At lower temperatures, the product must dry correspondingly longer.
