M Performance Silencer System

Description

From the racetrack straight to the road: The lightweight flap exhaust system with titanium rear silencer produces a highly emotional, racing-like sound. It was developed specifically for M models. The M Performance silencer system gives the rear of the vehicle a striking and individual look. The perforated inner pipes display a maximum of high-tech, sportiness and highlight the individual character traits of the BMW M. The optimized exhaust system enhances the characteristic 6-cylinder bi-turbo sound and underscores the sporty driving feel. Sounds like performance: The Motordynamic button can be used to switch between several modes that influence the performance of the exhaust system: -Sport and Sport+ mode: Extremely emotional sound, very sporty, very loud, maximum performance. -Efficient Mode: Sporty sound, significantly sportier and more emotional than the series, but with residual comfort for uncompromising everyday use. The silencer system was developed using the latest CAD and FEM technology. This ensures an optimal fit and manufacturer quality. The complete silencer system is Made in Germany. The original BMW M Performance exhaust system was developed and tested entirely in-house at BMW in collaboration with the various specialist departments and BMW M GmbH.
