From the racetrack directly to the road: The lightweight flap exhaust system with titanium rear silencer produces a highly emotional, racing-like sound. It was specially developed for the 3-series and 4-series M models. Visually, the two 80 mm twin titanium tailpipes with M logo give the vehicle a distinctive look. Alternatively, 93 mm tailpipe trims made of carbon with M logo can also be selected. -The M Performance silencer system gives the rear of the vehicle a striking and individual look. -The perforated inner pipes display the highest level of high-tech, sportiness and highlight the individual character traits of the BMW M. -High-quality alternative: You can choose between titanium and carbon tailpipe trims to make the vehicle even more individual. -Sounds like performance: the Motordynamic button can be used to switch between several modes that influence the performance of the exhaust system: -Sport and Sport+ Mode: Extremely emotional sound, very sporty, very loud, maximum performance. -Efficient Mode: Sporty sound, significantly sportier and more emotional than the series, but with residual comfort for uncompromising everyday use. -The optimized exhaust system enhances the 6-cylinder bi-turbo sound full of character and emphasizes the sporty driving feel. -The silencer system consists of a high-quality mix of materials, in which the pre-pipes are made of a lightweight stainless steel and the rear silencer is made entirely of titanium. -Lightweight: The silencer system is 32% (8 kg) lighter than the standard component. -The silencer system was developed using the latest CAD and FEM technology. This ensures optimum fitting accuracy and manufacturer quality. -Easy installation: The silencer system can be installed simply by screwing. Welding is not necessary.
