The M Performance door sill trim gives the Business Sedan an additional sporty appearance. The range also includes: front attachment, sill attachment and rear spoiler made of carbon as well as a three-part diffuser made of aramid. All parts listed here were developed for BMW 5 Series vehicles from 07/2023 with M sports package or M aerodynamics package. -The M Performance aerodynamic and exterior components are technically perfectly matched. -The shape and design have been specially developed for the 5 Series Sedan. The parts fit perfectly into the geometry and appearance of the vehicle. The elaborate production of the components gives them a high-quality appearance. -The M Performance components have been intensively tested in various tests. All legal requirements are met.

The antenna cover made of aramid fiber-reinforced plastic is a visual and functional highlight on the vehicle roof. Due to the extreme optical similarity between aramid fiber and carbon fiber, this product completes the "carbon" look of vehicles with a carbon package or other carbon exterior components. As aramid has a high permeability for electromagnetic waves, the functionality of the antenna is maintained. Carbon, on the other hand, has a shielding effect and cannot be used for antenna cladding. Possible in combination with a carbon roof, but you must decide for yourself whether you like the look of the aramid antenna cover on the carbon roof. Only in conjunction with repair kit windshield, cold, 1 hour (2x adhesive). This item is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. -The innovative material enables full functionality with a sporty, carbon-like look. -The antenna cover rounds off the carbon exterior portfolio perfectly. The aramid antenna cover is particularly durable and corrosion-resistant. Material: -Aramid" is the term BMW uses for the aramid fiber-reinforced plastic used in special accessory exterior components, similar to the term "carbon" for carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. Aramid is a high-quality fiber composite material that is very similar to carbon fiber in terms of its appearance and processing. In contrast to carbon, the components made from it have a high electromagnetic permeability. -Aramid has a lower density than carbon and is therefore somewhat lighter than carbon. -Until now, aramid fibres have been used mainly in rallying (underbody protection) or sailing (carbon-aramid hybrid sails) or in ballistic protection for bulletproof vests or armored vehicles.
