The weatherproof HP instrument combination combines the typical BMW displays with a wide range of additional racing-relevant functions, making it a real highlight for all racing enthusiasts. The HP instrument combination is operated via an additional switch with 2 buttons on the left handlebar armature: For safety reasons, the INFO and SETUP menus can only be called up when the vehicle is stationary. The "MENU" key (2) is used to control the cursor within the menu. The "SET" key (1) is used to operate the line selected by the cursor. large, clear digital display waterproof carbon housing, approx. 20 cm wide (bottom), approx. 11 cm high (middle) with a total of four display modes: ROAD mode provides all information necessary for operation on public roads: Total distance traveled, trip kilometers 1 + 2, remaining range (displayed only after the reserve is reached), clock, stopwatch, gear, speed. In RACE mode, the information important for race track operation is displayed: fastest and current lap time ("Lapmonitor"), fastest and slowest speed ("Speedmonitor"), total race time and number of laps completed. In INFO mode, it is possible to retrieve the information that was stored in RACE mode for each race lap: highest RPM, highest, lowest and average speed, number of gear changes, lap time, lap length, average throttle opening, percentage of driving time with brake applied. SETUP mode offers the possibility to customize the instrument combination to personal preferences: Lapmonitor or Speedmonitor selection in RACE mode, settings for shift flash, lap time display duration, brightness, time, reset, etc. eight LEDs, usable as RPM display or shift flash: display of maximum RPM at cold start ("RPM limiter" in warm-up phase) in ROAD mode, display of the approach to the red speed range In RACE mode, the LED band acts as a switching flash. The speed threshold can be set for each LED. This indicates to the pilot when the optimum shifting speed has been reached. Data memory: Data from up to 100 race laps can be recorded. The individual laps are recorded either manually by pressing a button or automatically with the laptimer, which is available as an accessory.

The infrared receiver for the laptimer features a weatherproof plastic housing. The article is only for racetrack use (no road approval)! This is connected to the free connector of the accessory harness. The connection is easily accessible - to protect against theft, the infrared receiver can be easily abgenommmen at any time.

The infrared transmitter for the Laptimer features a weatherproof plastic housing. The range is up to 20 m. The article does not have road traffic approval and is intended only for racetrack use! -One infrared transmitter can be used by several drivers (each with an infrared receiver). -Without road approval -It is recommended to use only one infrared transmitter on the race track at the same time, otherwise incorrect lap times may be recorded. -Note: The power supply for the infrared transmitter is not included in the scope of delivery. There are several possibilities for the power supply: -Connection to a (removed) motorcycle battery: For this, in addition to the motorcycle battery, the adapter cable charger is required (see order information). This can be connected to the poles of the battery with its two crocodile clips. -12V power supply from the electronics store. Plug of the infrared transmitter suitable for cigarette lighter (with adapter piece) or suitable for motorcycle socket (without adapter piece).
