The filling station at your home. With the permanently installed MINI Wallbox Essential, you can charge your MINI quickly, reliably and conveniently with up to 22 kW. It is a home charging station for all Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). In addition to its space-saving, compact dimensioning in MINI design, the MINI Wallbox Essential also offers convenient cable management. The status display also lets you see the current status of the MINI Wallbox Essential at all times. Thanks to the integrated residual current detection, installation is also simple and cost-effective. Compared to the OUC base cable supplied with the vehicle, the wallbox achieves up to 6 times the charging speed. -Maximum charging convenience: the cable is wound up and down around the wallbox, no more bending. -Plug & Play: When the plug is connected to the vehicle, charging starts automatically without the need for any further operations. -High and scalable charging power up to 22 kW. -Simple operation incl. convenient cable management. -Space-saving, compact dimensioning in MINI design. -Simple and cost-effective installation due to integrated residual current detection. Material: -The ergonomic and high-quality design is characterized by selected, high-quality and environmentally friendly materials. -The housing contains recycled material and is made of resistant plastic. -The high-quality multi-layer coating of the exterior parts meets the highest demands. It protects the wallbox permanently and contributes to a harmonious image with the vehicle. -Weather resistance: The wallbox can be permanently mounted inside and outside. Technical information: -The wallbox can be flexibly and easily connected to the house network. -The wallbox supports the vehicle-specific function "time-controlled charging". This makes it possible to charge vehicles exclusively at certain times and thus, for example, take advantage of particularly favorable electricity rates. -Vehicle pre-conditioning: The temperature in the vehicle can be preset. In this way, you will find a charged and already preheated or precooled vehicle in the morning. The energy required for this is provided by the wallbox when the vehicle is connected and thus saved during the journey - to maximize the range. -The status display of the wallbox is shown by an LED bar on the front of the wallbox. The display on the wallbox means that you can always see the current charging status, even from a greater distance.
