The M Performance Starter Kit Interior offers a cost-effective entry into the world of M Performance for vehicles with basic equipment. The exclusive package consists of: Alcantara steering wheel, M Performance shift knob with Alcantara bellows, Alcantara bellows with silver-white cross-stitching for the handbrake handle gaiter, and stainless steel pedal pads and stainless steel footrest. -The Interior Starter Kit offers a sporty upgrade of the interior at a very attractive price for vehicles without Lines or without a sports or M sports steering wheel (SA255/SA710). -Perfect feel: Alcantara steering wheel with Alcantara trim based on the leather steering wheel (SA240) with slightly thickened cross-section diameter (approx. 2 mm) and silver-white contrast stitching. -Because of the slightly thicker lamination in contrast to the standard leather steering wheel, the rim of the Alcantara steering wheel is slightly thicker and the feel is therefore softer. -Alcantara is the perfect material for sports steering wheels. The better grip and pleasant feel gives optimum grip on the steering wheel in extreme driving situations and provides a consistently pleasant feel in all temperature conditions. -The M Performance shift knob with Alcantara bellows impresses with its sporty elegance: the surfaces of the shift knob made of Alcantara and pearlescent chrome with M Performance lettering in the shift pattern. -The handbrake handle has a sporty ergonomic design and is enhanced by the matching bellows made of Alcantara with silver-white cross-stitching. -The high-quality stainless steel pedal pads and stainless steel footrest further enhance the footwell. Technical data: -The starter kit is suitable for all vehicles without sports steering wheel (SA255) or without M leather steering wheel (SA710) as well as for vehicles without automatic transmission (SA205) or sports automatic transmission (SA2TB). -The add-on parts for the steering wheel (airbag, MFT, electronics) can be taken over from the basic standard steering wheel or leather steering wheel (SA240). -If the airbag unit is exchanged, decoding is not necessary. When installed with SA248 (steering wheel heating), the heating function is omitted, decoding is not necessary. The switch for the steering wheel heating remains without function.
