Description

The BMW Head-Up Screen (Integrated Navigation) shows various vehicle and navigation information from BMW Integrated Navigation on a transparent display in the vehicle. The screen is installed on the dashboard and is positioned at the same height as the steering wheel. All information is thus in the driver's direct field of vision. The driver no longer has to take his eyes off the road and can read all the relevant information at any time. The BMW Head-Up Screen for Integrated Navigation is specially designed for use in conjunction with the retrofit BMW Integrated Navigation. In addition to relevant vehicle data, all navigation instructions from BMW Integrated Navigation can also be displayed on the BMW Head-Up Screen. All settings can be made via the free "Head-Up Screen" app. The Head-Up Screen can only be installed in conjunction with BMW Integrated Navigation. -The BMW Head-Up Screen offers the driver two core functions: Display of current vehicle information and navigation instructions from the free navigation app. -all information is always in the driver's direct field of vision -the information is very easy to read even in direct sunlight -in the dark, the display automatically reduces the brightness in the same way as the vehicle's instruments. In addition, the brightness can be adjusted via the "Head-Up Screen" app. -The frame of the BMW Head-Up Screen in elegant black does not reflect sunlight and thus prevents the driver from being dazzled. -A special mount has been developed for various model series (available on request), in which the BMW Head-Up Screen is mounted, thus achieving perfect and elegant integration into the vehicle. -With the BMW Head-Up Screen, BMW offers a product in the premium segment which, in addition to innovative OLED technology and high-quality material, is also perfectly matched to the design of the vehicles. -The crash-tested Original BMW Accessories are attached with a special adhesive connection Retrofitting or later, residue-free removal is possible at any time -the "Head-Up Screen" app can be used to adjust the settings of the BMW Head-Up Screen, e.g. luminosity setting, switching on and off various parameters, power and torque -the screen automatically connects to the smartphone via WLAN -The navigation instructions of the BMW Integrated Navigation (available separately) are displayed on the BMW Head-Up Screen. -Integrated interactivity: The NFC chip (Near Field Communication) in the housing makes it possible: As soon as an NFC-enabled smartphone is in the vicinity of the housing, the app is automatically activated, enabling convenient operation.
