The original BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is a high-quality Full HD wide-angle camera that enables the detection of critical driving situations as well as the accurate recording of a detailed video from the vehicle's point of view. The Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is used both while driving to document driving data and for up to 24 hours in parking mode to record damage to property or theft as video evidence. Light-sensitive sensors ensure optimal recordings during the day and at night. Using proximity sensor (radar technology) and vibration sensor (G-sensor), the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 detects potential accidents and thefts outside the vehicle at an early stage. The intelligent system evaluates environmental movements in front of and behind the vehicle in such a way that it distinguishes everyday movements from unusual ones and only starts video recording if an event has been classified as relevant. The BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 can be used universally for almost all BMW models. Cannot be installed with the optional equipment Climate Comfort Laminated Glazing and Climate Comfort Front Window. Radar technology is used to detect and analyze environmental movements in front of and behind the vehicle. -Attractive design: The Advanced Car Eye 2.0 fits perfectly into the vehicle thanks to the coherent BMW design language. -The facts always in view: Storing the recorded videos on a special SD card (32 GB) in different folders makes searching for events very easy. -A free SD card is included in the scope of delivery. -Easy to use: buttons for manual operation of the camera (camera on/off, manual recording photo/video, microphone on/off) are optimally placed. All other settings can be controlled via the app. In addition, LED lights ensure easy operation. -Easy attachment: The camera is easily stuck to the windshield with a double-sided adhesive tape. The sturdily attached front camera can be easily removed from the lock on the camera base using a slider, without loosening the adhesive.
