Color indicators support the correct installation of the ISOFIX Base in the vehicle. -Unlike conventional child seat crash pads, the patented Airpads are soft and comfortable in everyday use. -Isofix technology adds safety to the seat by eliminating tethering errors. -The BMW Junior Seat Group1 can be secured in the vehicle both rearward and forward facing. The longest possible rearward-facing transport is the safest approach for the child. -The ISOFIX Base is anchored in the ISOFIX bars of the vehicle and thus ensures a firm connection between the BMW Baby Seat 0+ or the BMW Junior Seat 1 and the vehicle body. -The BMW Baby Seat Group 0+ can also be secured without the ISOFIX Base, using only the three-point vehicle seat belt. -The BMW Junior Seat Group 1 can only be secured to the vehicle together with the ISOFIX Base. Airpads. -Integrated Airpads (patented): The static air pads are made of the same tear-resistant fabric as vehicle airbags and enclose a space filled with air and foam.
