The MINI Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is a highly sensitive full HD camera that keeps an eye on what's happening in front of and behind the vehicle, even at night and when parked. Using intelligent radar technology and G-sensor, vibrations and unusual movements outside the vehicle can be detected and distinguished from ordinary movements. The camera automatically saves the situation to document possible accidents or even attempted break-ins. The Original MINI Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is a high-quality Full HD wide-angle camera that enables the detection of critical driving situations as well as the accurate recording of a detailed video from the vehicle's point of view. Used both while driving to document driving data and for up to 24 hours in parking mode to record property damage or theft as video evidence, the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 can be used as a video surveillance system. Light-sensitive sensors ensure optimal recording during the day and at night. Using proximity sensor (radar technology) and vibration sensor (G-sensor), the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 detects potential accidents and thefts outside the vehicle at an early stage. The intelligent system evaluates environmental movements in front of and behind the vehicle in such a way that it distinguishes everyday movements from unusual ones and only starts video recording if an event has been classified as relevant. The MINI Advanced Car Eye 2 is universally applicable to almost all MINI models in China, Korea and Japan. The same applies to the MINI Advanced Car Eye 2.0 in all other approved markets. An LED light signals the recording. This means that the vehicle is monitored even when the driver is not looking. -Thanks to various sensors of the light-sensitive camera as well as excellent signal processing, excellent recordings are possible by day and night. -The precise GPS receiver enables the exact recording of the route and the driven speed. -The G-sensor reliably detects vibrations.
