Description
The BMW Disc snow chains are particularly quick and easy to fit thanks to the spring steel bracket and automatic lock. They ensure the best possible traction and have a rim protection disk that protects the wheel from damage. The chains are simply pulled over the tire using the spring steel bracket and then fixed to the rim-protecting plastic disc using a tensioning chain. -The plastic disc also ensures even tensioning. -Installation is convenient, simple and safe thanks to the spring steel bracket and automatic lock. -The track cross running net with non-slip chain elements ensures optimum traction and smooth running. -The chains have a long service life as the running surfaces can be used on both sides. -The plastic disc offers the best possible protection for the rim against scratches and damage from chain components.

Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn bei den Schneeketten die jeweiligen Spannketten in die entgegengesetzte Richtung vormontiert wären, so dass man bei der Montage (linkes und rechtes Rad) 1/4 Umdrehung entweder nur nach vorn oder nur zurück fahren müsste. Bei den hier gelieferten Ketten hätte man für eine der Ketten nach vorne fahren und für die andere anschließend zurücksetzen müssen, um sie zu nachzuspannen. Um dies zu vermeiden, hatte ich eine der Ketten - wie in der Anleitung beschrieben - vorher gewendet. Dieser Vorgang erweist sich allerdings als sehr schwierig, da die Verriegelungsknöpfe gleichzeitig gedrückt und der Verwahrring dabei gedreht werden muss. Mit 2 Personen ist dies dann endlich gelungen.
